Who am I?

I am Phoebe Atkinson-Eberle, owner of Mill Pond Cakes.  I am a sole trader providing single tier celebration cakes to customers living/working within approximately 15 miles of Emsworth.

 

How to I get your permission to store personal information about you?

When I request personal information from you in order to complete an order, I will ask you to confirm that you are happy for me to store that information for that specific reason.

 

What information do I collect about you?

I collect information about you when you ask me to design/bake/deliver a cake for you.  This will include your contact details and may also include personal information about you, close family members and dependents.  Please ensure that you have the consent of the people concerned to pass that information on to me.

 

What do I do with your information?

When you contact me I collect the personal information you give me such as your name, address, email address and telephone numbers.  I only use this information to contact you and facilitate the successful design & delivery of your cake order(s).

 

I take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is kept secure: My order book is kept in a locked filing cabinet.  My Facebook page is password protected.  My computer is password protected.  My mobile phone is password protected.

 

Who do I share your personal information with?

I do not share your personal information with anyone else.  I do not engage in email marketing.

 

How long to I keep the information I have about you?

During the course of my business relationship with you I will retain your personal data in order to provide the best possible service to you.

 

Unless I have been asked to delete your personal information I will keep it for 24 months, in order to maintain a successful business relationship in a sector that responds to anniversaries.  If I have had no contact with you during that period I will delete your personal information.  You may, at any time, request that I delete your personal data from my files.

 

How can you access the information I hold about you?
